The Mayor has been out and about talking to community groups all over the region about bus travel. Working with our district partners, we reached out to groups to invite them to a Tell Tracy session to share their experiences of bus travel. These sessions ran alongside The Mayor’s Big Bus Chat and gave groups dedicated time to speak to Mayor Brabin and share their experiences.
The meetings have been thought provoking and insightful, providing great feedback. As well as face to face meetings, groups were able to share their thoughts through digital and face-to-face drop-ins.
Since the meetings, we have written a Tell Tracy about buses reportbased on all the feedback, which is being shared with decision makers and will help to inform future bus plans.
Watch our video about how the meetings went:
How you can get involved
Tell Tracy about buses is only the start. Tell Tracy is continuing with different themes, giving the Mayor the opportunity to meet local communities to hear their insight about different topics.
If you attend or run a local group and want the Mayor to visit you, contact us:
Writing to us at FREEPOST CONSULTATION TEAM WYCA (no stamp is required)
We can’t guarantee the Mayor will be able to attend every meeting request due to availability and prior diary commitments. However, where possible a representative from the Mayor’steam or the Communities team can attend and share feedback with the Mayor.
