Make consultation sensitive to complex family situations.

You should redo your school transport consultation questionnaire. As it is, any parent with children at different educational stages (e.g. primary/secondary) or attending different schools, or using different transportation methods cannot answer the questions without arbitrarily choosing one child over the other. THIS WILL BE VERY MANY PARENTS! What are parents in this situation to do? Fill in the whole questionnaire twice? Quite apart from the inconvenience of doing so, this doesn’t seem fair– it gives such parents a louder voice than others.

    Accessibility

Using web forms for feedback and criticism so that people who do not have the time/ can’t get to meetings due to issues can still provide their voice and feedback More reliable buses and bus routes for people so that they are able to get to things such as meetings (taking into consideration improving bus dead zones where there’s only one bus going through the area)

    Safe Parking

Support all households with cars where possible to have a drive or off street parking, to stop parking on the path, and enforce the rules around this. Safety of people walking, using a wheel chair or pushing a pram needs to be a priority.

Make cycling safer and more attractive by sweeping the roads regularly.

After surface dressing particularly, local roads are not swept of loose chippings making them slippery and consuming more energy. There is also far too much scrap and litter in the gutters which can cause accidents. The potholes are already scandalous and easily cause 'snake-bite ' punctures, resulting in long walks home, as "you can't take that on a train/bus".

Garage sites across Leeds LCC are not getting value from them as many use them and pay nothing.
