We are working in partnership with Leeds City Council to improve safety along the A6110 Ring Road Beeston and A643 Elland Road making it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle in the area and improve bus journey times.
The proposals include:
- New segregated two-way cycle track on the A6110 Ring Road from Junction 1 Retail Park to Cottingley Drive
- Upgraded pedestrian and cycle crossings
- New street lighting on cycle lane and upgrade of fencing at Cottingley playing fields
- Upgraded fencing at Cottingley playing fields
- New planting and landscaping
